Family … we’re all born into one – for better, or worse.

You don’t really have a choice when it comes to what family you’re born into.

But, have you ever heard of FOC?

FOC stands for Family of Choice.

It’s a concept I first read about in <G> Code by Ryan Stewman and it’s a concept I am starting to understand better and better now that I am a member of Apex Entourage.

I absolutely love the family I was born into and I know that makes me one of the lucky ones.

Not everyone is as lucky though, which makes understanding FOC even more important.

Your Family Of Choice is made up of the people you decide to spend time with, learn from and grow with, do business with and so much more.

My belief is that you can have numerous Families of Choice.

Fortunately, I’ve had a FOC for quite some time when it comes to my love of fitness.

In this photo are some of the people in my fitness Family of Choice.

We got together this morning at our friend’s studio (Shana Atkins) to run on the treadmill for 45 minutes together.

That’s right, my fitness FOC agreed to waking up early and meeting downtown at 6:30 am, so we could enjoy each other’s company while “doing the work” before our days really got started.

Remember, you can’t choose the family you were born into, BUT you can (and should) 100% choose your FOC.

It very well may be the difference between a fulfilling and successful life, or a life you look back on and regret.

I’ll see you on the battlefield.
